Tax Rates
How Taxes Work
VAT (Sales Tax)
When companies sell products to the country market, 10.00% of the sale proceeds go to the treasury. This applies to all goods regardless of origin.
Import Tax
Foreign companies selling to this market pay an additional 1.00% import tax. Companies can purchase an export license (20 Gold) to bypass this tax.
Work Tax
Workers pay 1.00% tax on wages earned from employment. The tax is automatically deducted from wages and goes to the treasury.
All tax revenue flows directly to the country treasury and can be used by the government for country development, military expenses, and public services. Tax rates can be changed through laws proposed by the Minister of Finance and approved by Congress.
