How to Set Up MetaMask Wallet

Follow these simple steps to create your wallet and start playing Tactizen

Install MetaMask Browser Extension

MetaMask is a free crypto wallet that works as a browser extension. Visit the official website to download it for your browser:

Create a New Wallet

After installing the extension, click the MetaMask icon in your browser toolbar and follow the setup wizard:

  • Click "Create a new wallet"
  • Agree to the terms of use
  • Create a strong password (at least 8 characters)
  • This password unlocks MetaMask on your device

Secure Your Secret Recovery Phrase

MetaMask will generate a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase. This is the master key to your wallet:

  • Write down the 12 words in the exact order shown
  • Store them in a safe, offline location (paper backup recommended)
  • Never share your recovery phrase with anyone
  • Never enter it on any website other than MetaMask itself
Anyone with your recovery phrase can access your wallet and all its contents. Keep it secret!

Confirm Your Recovery Phrase

MetaMask will ask you to confirm your recovery phrase by selecting the words in the correct order:

  • Click on each word in the exact sequence you wrote them down
  • This confirms you've properly backed up your phrase
  • Once confirmed, your wallet is ready to use!

Connect to Tactizen

Now you're ready to play! Simply click the "Connect Wallet" button on this page:

  • Click "Connect Wallet to Play" above
  • MetaMask will open and ask you to confirm the connection
  • Click "Connect" to allow Tactizen to see your wallet address
  • Sign a message to verify you own the wallet (no gas fees!)
  • You'll be logged in automatically
Signing a message is free and proves wallet ownership. It does not give Tactizen access to your funds.

Tactizen uses the Horizen network for blockchain transactions. Click the button below to automatically add it to MetaMask:
